WKA from 19th June: Scotland

The 2024 WKA World Championships.

Following WKO and WKA having a mutual agreement for our national teams to attend each others World Championships. By invitation only WKO National Teams will be in attendance. See below for more information on categories.

For further information on hotels and travel please contact WKO. All members have choice to book suitable accommodation to their budget and needs.

An additional handling fee of £10 per category has been added. This fee goes towards online payment charges and to subsidise WKO Team Coaches Travel and Accommodation costs. They give up their time to be the best coaches around, we do what we can for this not to also be an expense for them to bet at your service.

Friday 22nd November:

WKO Unified European Championships: Germany

WKO European Director for Ringsports will be hosting the prestigious WKO Unified European Championships in Arnsberg Germany.

WKO National teams will be in attendance. All members travelling have personal choice to book how/when travel and which accommodation suits their individual budget and needs best.

Flights at present for example from UK travelling Thursday to Tuesday are £100 return (02/04/24). WKO World President Jon Green will be travelling with the WKO-GB team on or around these dates TBC.

Points to consider:

Once all Competitors have registered and draws Will only be known once the event organiser publish publicly.

This allows for coaches to look any errors or unsuitable matches

Any unsuccessful entries that we cannot match will not be refunded, as this is the event organisers policy.

All draws remain provisional until all competitors have weighed in, once weigh in complete the draws will be updated.

ALL COMPETITORS NEED TO MAKE THEMSELVES AVAILABLE FOR ALL DAYS OF THE ABOVE CHAMPIONSHIPS INCLUDING:

WEIGH IN - OPENING CEREMONY - CHAMPIONSHIPS

EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE TO KEEP YOU UP TO DATE WHEN AND WHICH AREA YOU WILL BE COMPETING IN AND WHICH DAY

As this is a World class Championships and not a National Championships consideration must be given to the time it will take to run such an event.

Which also have many amenities required for an enjoyable stay.
If staying in a city Trains go back and forth from Airport to cities. Car hire can also be a cheaper and more flexible way to get around on your stay
